日本で平和と戦争について議論するとき、その題材のほとんどは日本の戦争です。外国の戦争についても学ぶべきでしょう。

日本では、外国から侵略されたら、誰の命も奪わないようにすぐに降伏するべきだと主張する人がいます。しかし、降伏した後に人を殺さなければならないかもしれませんし、侵略者による次の戦争を支援しなければならないこともありえます。
