11月20日(水)、落語を通して仏教に親しむ企画「おてらくごの」ススメが築地本願寺銀座サロンで開かれました。ご来場に御礼申し上げます。
まず、古今亭志ん吉さんに落語「夢の酒」を演じて頂きました。これは夢についてのお話です。
その後、私が夢について話しました。
私たちは寝ている間、夢を見ます。私たちの夢には、心の中にあることが現れます。中には、夢の中で仏さまから教えを受ける人もいます。これは、私たちの心の中に仏さまがいらっしゃるということです。
大乗仏教は、仏さまはありとあらゆる所にいらっしゃると教えます。すなわち、仏さまは私たちの心の中にもいらっしゃいます。私たちは、自分の心の中の仏さまに気づくことはまずありません。しかし、仏さまを自分の心に見つけられないとしても、それは仏さまが存在しないということではありません。私たちは悪い心を持っていますが、清らかな心も持っているのです。
On November 20, "OTERAKUGO NO SUSUME" was held at the Tsukiji Hongwanji Ginza Salon. This was an event to like Buddhism though rakugo, Japanese trditional comic storytelling. Thank you for coming.
First, Mr. KOKONTEI Shinkichi performed a rakugo "Yume no Sake" (Japanese rice wine in a dream). This story is about a dream.
Next, I talked about dreams.
We sometimes dream during sleeping. We dream something in our own minds. Some people dream that Buddha preaches to them. That means that Buddha is in our minds.
Mahayana Buddhism teaches us that Buddha is omnipresent in the world. Thus, Buddha is also in our minds. We can hardly be aware of Buddha in our minds. However, it does not mean that Buddha is not in our minds even if we can not find Buddha in our minds. We have evil mind. Whereas we also have pure mind.
