It is tend to think that Buddhist altars are for worshipping the ancestors. Essentially, Buddhist altars are for daily worshipping Buddhas.

Problems on Moritomo Gakuen have become topics. Some people criticize that the Imperial Rescript on Education is one of teaching material, others accept it.
I oppose to make kindergarten children recite the Imperial Rescript on Education. The reason is that its words are too difficult for children.
Kindergartens of Buddhist temples often express teachings of Buddhism in plain words, make their children recite them. It is not a good way to make kindergarten children recite the Imperial Rescript on Education in the original texts.
I refrain from commenting on the contents of the Imperial Rescript on Education.
It was decided that a name "Shotoku Taishi" is retained in school education. I approve this conclusion.
"Shotoku Taishi did not exist" means "Umayado-no-miko (Umayado-no-o) did not have remarkable achievements. Thus, he was not a great person". But, teaching him in school education means admitting that he was an important person. It is contradiction between calling him "Umayado-no-miko (Umayado-no-o)" and teaching him in school education.
Some people may approve, others may disapprove Mr. WADA Hideki's opinion on the problem on Moritomo Gakuen. By the way, I sense "I need to take notice of myself" from his sentences.
There is something called "Person-oriented thinking" in the idea of
social psychology. It means that you accept opinions of what people
you respect, you do not accept ones of what people you dislike even
if they were right.
