寄席情報の月刊誌『東京かわら版』7月号が届きました。145ページに7月5日(木)開催の、「おてらくごのススメ」の情報が掲載されました

今回は三笑亭可龍師匠に落語「片棒」を演じて頂きます。そして私が「葬儀の形」についてお話しします。皆様のお越しをお待ち致しております。開演は19時です。

On July 5, "OTERAKUGONO SUSUME" an event to like Buddhism through rakugo (Japanese traditional comic storytelling) will be held at the Tsukiji Hongwanji Ginza Salon. Informations on it are appeared in the July issue of "TOKYO KAWARABAN", a monthly magazine on rakugo, etc.

First, Mr. SANSHOTEI Karyuu will perform a rakugo "Katabou (one side of a bar)". Next, I will talk about how we have held funeral ceremonies.

名付けには力があります Naming has ability to figure objects

6月22日、落語と仏教の企画が、浜離宮朝日ホールで開かれました。
On June 22, an event of Rakugo and the Buddism was held at the Hamarikyu Asahi Hall.

まず、柳家三三(やなぎやさんざ)師匠に落語「寿限無」と「万金丹」を演じて頂きました。「寿限無」は、両親が子供に長い長い名前を付ける話です。「万金丹」は、2人の旅人が思いがけなく僧侶になって、あわてて戒名を付ける話です。
First, Mr. YANAGIYA Sanza performed two rakugoes "Jugemu" and "Mankintan". A story of "Jugemu" is that parents name very long name to their son. "Mankintan" is a name of a medicine, a Rokugo "Mankintan" is a story that two travelers became the Buddhist priests unexpectedly and named the Buddhist name to a dead person in panic.

落語の後、釈徹宗先生(相愛大学教授)と橋本順正氏(浄土真宗本願寺派総合研究所研究助手)の対談です。対談では、名前を付けることは対象を規定することであって、単なる記号ではないと話し合われました。

大変勉強になる企画でした。

After the rakugo, Dr. SHAKU Tesshu and Mr. HASHIMOTO Junshou talked about naming. They said: Naming has ability to figure objects. Names are not only marks.

I learned a lot through the event.

土用丑の日に食べるのはウナギでなくてもよいのです It is no problem that we eat something except eels on the day of Doyou Ushinohi

土用丑の日にウナギを食べる習慣があります。でも、ウナギの数は減り続けています。そこで、食品宅配サービス「らでぃっしゅぼーや」は土用丑の日にウナギ以外のものを食べることを勧めています。持続可能性を配慮した取り組みが、広まって欲しいです。

調べてみると、土用丑の日には、ウナギでなくても「う」のつく食べ物がよいという話があるようです。

In Japan, we have a custom of eating eels on the day of Doyou Ushinohi (the midsummer day of the ox, it is named after one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac).
But, the number of eels is decreasing. So, "Radisshuboya", a food delivery service recommends that we eat something except eels on the day.
I hope that considering sustainability spreads.

 

子供時代を忘れやすいのか？Do we forget our childhood easily?

子供をけなして楽しんでい大人がよくいます。でも、その人たちも子供の頃、大人からけなされて、不愉快な思いをしたはずです。私たちは、自分の子供時代を忘れやすいということなのでしょうか？私たちが進歩するのは難しいようです。

Adults often disparage children and enjoy it. But, they must have been looked down on in childhood by adults. And, they probably did not like them. Should we say that we forget our childhood easily? It seems difficult for us to improve ourselves.
