Tsukiji Hongwanji temple has published the November issue of "Tsukiji Hongwanji Shimpo", a monthly magazine. You can read it online.
My column on the relationship between Rakugo and Buddhism is in the issue. I wrote this column about a Rakugo "Ofumi-san" ("Ofumi" means both a woman's name and a letter by the eighth head priest of Hongwanji, Rennyo Shonin). This rakugo describes aspects of Jodo Shinsu in Osaka.
