落語を通して仏教に親しむ企画「銀座の落語寺」が11月8日、築地本願寺GINZAサロンで開催されました。ご来場そしてご覧頂きありがとうございます。
まず、三遊亭圓雀師匠に落語「時うどん」を演じて頂きました。
この落語では、ある夜、2人の男がうどん屋を訪ねます。2人は時間のトリックでお金をごまかします。次の晩、2人のうちの1人が同じことをしようとしましたが、時間を間違えて失敗しました。
次に私が、時間の使い方についてお話しました。仏教では、時間は戻ってこないので、時間を無駄にしてはいけないと説いています。また、私たちは不測の事態に遭うことがあります。そんな時、発想を転換すれば道が開けます。宗教の教えは、発想の転換に導いてくれます。宗教の教えは常識と違うことがあるので、宗教に意味があるのか疑問に思うかもしれません。しかし、日常生活の中で宗教の教えを聞いていれば、自分の常識で対応できない状況の時、考えをより簡単に切り替えることができるようになります。いざという時の備えは、普段は役に立たなくても、不測の事態の助けになります。それは、日常生活の中で積み重ねていくものです。ですから、日常生活の中で宗教の教えに聞くようにしたいものです。
On November 8, we held "Ginza No Rakugodera", an event to like Buddhism through Rakugo at the Tsukiji Hongwanji Ginza Salon. Thank you for coming and watching it.
First, Mr. SANYUTEI Enjaku performed a Rakugo "Toki Udon" (Time noodle). In this Rakugo, two men visited a noodle stand one night. They cheated money using a trick of time. The next evening, a man of the two tried to do the same. After all, he failed the cheating for making a mistake in time.
Next, I talked about how to spend time. Buddhism teaches us that we should not waste time because time never comes back. In addition, we sometimes meet on unexpected occasions. In such cases, we can find a way if we switch our thought. Religious teaching leads us to change our ideas easily. You may wonder if religion has sense because it is often against common sense. However, if we listen to religious teaching in daily life, we can more easily switch our views in which a situation does not meet our common sense. Preparation for unexpected occasions is not useful in everyday life, but it helps us in unexpected situations. It is built up in our daily life. Therefore, we should listen to religious teaching in our daily life.
