最近、「アマビエ」の伝説が話題になっています。このような話です。
ある妖怪が肥後国(現在の熊本県)で見つかりました。その妖怪は人間に「アマビエ」と名のりました。アマビエは、6年間疫病が流行すると予言し、アマビエの絵を見せるよう告げて、消え去りました。
今、この伝説が知られるようになっています。これは、人類は理論的な思考だけでなく神秘的な話を必要としている、ということなのでしょう。

Recently, a folklore of "Amabie" becomes a topic. That folklore is following;
A monster was found in Higo province (current Kumamoto prefecture in Kyushu). The monster told people its name was Amabie. Amabie predicted that a plague would prevail for 6 years. Amabie suggested people that they look at paintings of Amabie. Then, Amabie left there.
Now, this folklore comes to be well known. It means that human beings need mysterious stories as well as logical thinking, I think.
I hope that the new coronavirus will come to an end soon.
