"OTERAKUGO NO SUSUME" is an event to like Buddhism through rakugo (Japanese traditional comic storytelling). It will be held at the Tsukiji Hongwanji Ginza Salon on August 27. It will begin at 7:00 p.m.

First, Mr. SANYUTEI Enjaku will perform a rakugo "Sanoyama" (A sumo wrestler's name). Next, I will talk about compassion. We are looking forward to seeing you.
We will stream this performance and talk.

昭和20年(1945年)8月9日、アメリカ軍は長崎に原爆を投下し、多くの人が犠牲になりました。悲惨なことです。
もちろん、核兵器がなくなるのが理想的です。しかし実際には、核兵器を持つ国が増えてしまっています。まずは、核兵器が使われないようにすることが必要だと思います。核兵器は75年間使用されていません(核実験を除いて)。

On August 9, 1945, the U.S. forces dropped a nuclear bomb on Nagasaki. The bomb killed many people. It was disastrous.
Of course, it is ideal that there are not any nuclear weapons in the world. But actually, more countries have them than before. I think we need to prevent nuclear weapons from used first. Nuclear weapons have not been exploded for 75 years, except for nuclear tests.

ロンドンで経済活動再開 Reopening in London

このニュースによりますと、ロンドンでは経済活動が再開してきています。舞台公演は例外ですが、イギリス政府はそれに約20億ドルの支援を約束しています。ロンドンの人々は新型コロナウイルスに注意していて、手を洗うようにしているという人もいます。でもこの映像では、マスクをしている人はほとんどおらず、パブもほぼ満席です。

経済とCOVID-19対策を両立させる政策の一つでしょう。

This news says following;
Businesses are starting to reopen in London, except theaters with live performances. The UK's government is promising almost two billion dollars of support to them. People in London are careful for the new coronavirus. Some people said that they washed their hands.

However, in this video, few look to ware masks, a pub's seats seem to be almost full. It is one of policies to make economy and the measure against COVID-19 go together, I think.

今回は 古今亭志ん吉さんの落語「二階ぞめき」、そして私が「STAY HOME」についてお話しします。
皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。申し訳ございませんが、築地本願寺銀座サロンでの予約は7月下旬に開始の予定です。講座のオンライン配信も予定されています。
新型コロナウイルスが早く終息することを願っています。

First, Mr. KOKONTEI Shinkichi will perform a rakugo "Nikai Zomeki" (An upstairs window‐shopper). Next, I will talk about STAY HOME.
I am sorry that the Tsukiji Hongwanji Ginza Salon does not accept the reservation yet. The reservation is expected to begin at late in July. We are scheduling to stream this performance and talk.
I hope that the new coronavirus will come to an end soon.
