12月8日はお釈迦様が悟りを開かれた日、成道会(じょうどうえ)です。お釈迦様は真実に目覚め、すべての苦から解放される道を見出されました。
それを私たちに説いて下さったから、私たちは真実への道を歩むことができます。お釈迦様が悟りを開かれたことに感謝しましょう。
December 8 is Bodhi Day, the day on which the Buddha attained his enlightenment.
The Buddha awakened to the truth, then found the way we could be released from all suffering.
As the Buddha preached us the truth, we can walk the path to the truth. We should appreciate the Buddha and his enlightenment.
