9月12日、築地本願寺銀座サロンで「おてらくごのススメ」が開かれました。約20名の方にお越し頂きました。ありがとうございました。
まず、三遊亭圓雀師匠に落語「茶の湯」を演じて頂きました。息子に店を譲ったご隠居さんが、茶の湯を始めました。しかし、茶の湯のことをまるで知らないので、無茶苦茶な茶の湯になりました。
次に、私がいざという時の備えについて話しました。この落語のご隠居さんは、隠居生活への備えが不充分でした。だから、何をすればいいのかわからなくなってしまったのです。いざという時の備えは重要です。しかし、備えがなくても日常生活に困らないので、備えを怠りがちです。備えがないままにしていると、いざという時に途方に暮れることになります。私たちの人生で一番のいざという時は、命が終わるときです。永遠に生きられる人は誰もいません。宗教は、私たちが死後どうなるかを教えてくれます。人生が順調である間は、宗教が役に立つとは感じにくいものです。しかし、宗教は決して役に立たないのではありません。宗教はいざという時に対する心構えを用意させてくれるのです。
On September 12, "OTERAKUGO NO SUSUME", an event to like the Buddhism through rakugo (Japanese traditional comic storytelling) was held at the Tsukiji Hongwanji Ginza Salon. About 20 guests came there. Thank you for coming
First, Mr. SANYUTEI Enjaku perfoemed a rakugo "CHA NO YU" (Japanese traditional tea ceremony). This story is following : An old man handed over his business to his son, he retired.Then, he began CHA NO YU (Japanese traditional tea ceremony) even though he did not know it at all. So, his CHA NO YU was incorrect.
Next, I talked about the preparations for emergency and crises. The old man in the rakugo had not prepared for his life after retirement. So, he was to be at a loss what to do. It is important to prepare for emergency and crises. But, we often forget to prepare for them because we are not in trouble without preparation for them on our daily lives. If you leave preparation for them lacking, you are to be at a loss what to do at emergency and crises. The maximum crisis in our lives is the end of our own lives. Nobody can live forever. Religion tell us what we will be after death. We can hardly feel religion is useful when we are well-off. But, religion is never useless. Religion make us prepare our mental attitudes against emergency and crises.
