報恩講、悪人正機…知られず 浄土真宗教団連合が初調査 : 京都新聞

京都新聞の記事です。
人々が宗教に求めているものは「先祖供養」とのことです。そして僧侶に「私欲や不正がなく謙虚であること」を求めています。

This is an article of the Kyoto shimbun.
According to this article, people wish religion perform religious service to their ancestors. And, they want the Buddhist priests are unselfish, fair and modest.

落語で考えよう「掛け軸からのメッセージ」

3月6日(火)、築地本願寺銀座サロンで「おてらくごのススメ」が開かれます。19時開演です。
まず三遊亭春馬師匠に落語「一目上がり」を演じて頂きます。そして私が掛け軸や床の間についてお話しします。

First, Mr. SANYUTEI Haruba will perform a rakugo "Hitomeagari". Next, I will talk about scrolls and alcoves of Japanese traditional houses.

「縁」に感謝しましょう

昨夜(1月19日)、落語を通して仏教に親しむ企画「おてらくごのススメ」が、築地本願寺銀座サロンで開かれました。お越し頂き、ありがとうございます。

まず、三笑亭可龍師匠に落語「初天神」を演じて頂きました。初天神(天神さんの神社で行われる、その年最初の縁日)に親子で行った話です。

お正月には、多くの人がお寺や神社へ初詣に訪れます。

私たちの日常は、さまざまな人や物事に支えられています。そして私たちも日常的に、さまざまな人やものを支えています。これを仏教の言葉で「縁」と言います。新しい年を迎えることができたのも、「縁」があるからです。そして、「縁」を教えてくれるのが、仏様です。さまざまな「縁」、それを教えてくれた仏様への感謝の気持ちをもって、新年のお参りをしたいものです。

Yesterday (January 19), "OTERAKUGO NO SUSUME", an event to like Buddhism through rakugo was held at the Tsukiji Hongwanji Ginza Salon. Thank you for coming.

First, Mr. SANSHOUTEI Karyu performed a rakugo "Hatsu Tenjin"(The first festivals of the year in Tenjin shrines). This is the story that a father and his son went to Hatsu Tenjin.

For New Year holidays, many people worship in Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines.
Our daily lives are supported by various people and things, and we also support various people and things everyday. It is called "Pratyaya"(Dependent Co-Arising) in Buddhism. We can enter a new year because we owe to "Pratyaya".
And, Buddhas teach us "Pratyaya". I hope we worship to appreciate "Pratyaya" and Buddhas, who teach us "Pratyaya".

This is an interesting study if it is true.
